Marian has over 30 years experience in Information Security and Risk Management, ranging from

working with development teams, legal, IT Security various executives within the company to implement and manage both local and global risk management programs. She headed the security program for a Fortune 10 company which consisted of multiple business units each having a different level of service they offered to their clients.

 

Marian has been involved in industry organizations ranging from HIMSS, the organization that created the first certification for products in the healthcare industry, currently serving on the InfraGard Atlanta Board, WEDI Board Member for 9 years, assisted HIMSS and AHIMA in joint partnership in providing training across the nation for security/privacy as it related to healthcare. A leader that is passionate about cybersecurity and providing companies a way to manage cybersecurity based on their business and not just implementing controls for the sake of meeting a framework…let’s take security beyond the frameworks.
